Excellent! What do you expect? It’s the Olive Garden breadsticks of pizza. You know exactly what you’re gonna get every time to perfection. Eat it fresh and hot and you’ll have no complaints! ALSO. Bonus points, the bar tenders are always welcoming . Even if you’re a regular and make some horrible decisions sometimes. They always welcome you back!

Hi, along with five of my friends, I have been having lunch at Grottos in Wilmington, Delaware on Pennsylvania Avenue for many years. We love the friendly atmosphere, the staff is always very polite and professional and eager to please. The food is always delicious.

We look forward to Fridays at Grottos!!! We ordered from Grotto for the first time this evening and I am very happy. The food is delicious. Portion size is plentiful. Prices are a bit high but everything is lately and the quality of food is excellent so I’m good paying it. We got the Bianca pizza, bruschetta and hot wings. All great. Highly recommend.

I’m going to date this review and you’ll see how in the next sentence. It’s so comforting to find a place where I can dine in. So it was here at Grotto Pizza in Wilmington. I ordered a boil and my first impression was it’s small. It turns out that it was just right.

Actually it was just right in more ways than one. The crust wasn’t too thick, there was enough filling to be flavourful, and a cup of sauce was provided on the side. Everyone has their own tastes for “just right.” For my tastes this was just right on all counts. If you’re looking for a “wow. I can’t eat all that” Stromboli, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a Stromboli for two, this isn’t that unless you’re also ordering appetisers or sides. If you want a really good but not over the top Stromboli, then this might be just right for you.

A go-to for a late night drink and bite to eat alone or with a friend. They’re open till 1am every evening. The atmosphere is so chill, the music not too loud so it’s ideal for a conversation or just a quiet place to have a drink after a long day. Highly recommend.

I go here often and the food here is delicious. I did have a little issue but the quick response and resolution to my issue was handled by the manager Dan. He made sure my issue was handled with much patience! I would recommend eating here.

Great place great food wonderful atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and pleasant and professional. Pizza is to die for. Beer is always freezing cold. I enjoy going when I visit Delaware . I can’t wait to go back Enjoyed a reasonably priced steak sandwich and fries that were very good. It was fairly busy and I needed to get to an appointment. The bartender who served my food got me out with time to spare.
