Real experience
Excellent spot for a nice dinner for business or leisure. The food was really good, the service was a little understaffed but our waitress was very friendly. Portions on the dinner plates were enough for one person or even two to be shared with if appetizers are ordered. Interesting background of the history behind the restaurant and building. Highly recommended!

First time to Nashville, girls weekend/celebrating an intimate baby shower, visiting family and friends, AND an ABSOLUTELY fantastic luncheon at Mere Bulles who hosted our baby shower! I can’t say enough! Meghan, who coordinated our beautiful afternoon luncheon was top notch, from the flowers on the table to the sweet private room she had ready for us!
And then there is Bob, our waiter! He shared the history of the beautiful mansion and provided impeccable service! The food and cocktails were outstanding! We loved everything about this place! 5 STARS all around!
I hope the happy couple have their wedding celebration at Mere Bulles! Honestly, if you live in or near Nashville, and have not been, GO! I wish we had someplace like this back in northern Illinois!

Very cool atmosphere in an almost century old home. The service was phenomenal. Full bar, great wine selection, and plenty of beers to choose from. The Artichoke app is lightly battered, fantastically fried, and delicious. The she crab bisque was the best I’ve had. The ribeye was perfectly seasoned. Gelato is a true delight. This is a must stop for the foodie fans.
Everything we had was delicious. I love the calamari, so tasty! My short rib was cooked to perfection and was nicely paired with the mash. My husband’s steak was very good according to him, he said he can tell it is great quality meat and very tender. The bearnese was delicious and creamy. I also love the charred carrots (wish it was more charred and hot but still very yummy).
The carrot cake was out of this world, so moist and decadent! The chocolate fudge was very chocolatey and not overly sweet, which I like. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I also love the decor, so elegant and gives such holiday vibes. The bathrooms were clean and well lit. We’ll sure come back with the fam!

A great example of this fault is in their seasonal Charred Octopus plate. This was something around $45 for what amounted to only two small tentacles that were quite chewy. Having had this prepared from more seasoned cooks, that crisped grilled exterior ought to be the firmest piece, with the core being tender and soft to chew. The flavor was fine, but this does not command the price.
Nor does the rest of the plate which at first glance I thought it may be large scallops, but instead is just browned potato slices and some onion. This is a seasonal menu dish and it should be something the restaurant is proud of, but it was just a disappointment.

Great atmosphere. Great service. Great food. Will definitely recommend to others. Might become a regular visit when in Nashville. Slightly longer wait than anticipated after arriving at reservation time. But had a fun time waiting in the lounge. Only odd thing was the music selection for the evening. AC/DC and other classic rock isn’t exactly dinner music. A visit here won’t be regretted.
finally
We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at Mere Bulles. Being from out of town, James helped us navigate the process from start to finish. His staff was wonderful to work with and extremely professional. We chose the trout and the short rib along with the soup – absolutely amazing! Mere Bulles started out wedding weekend on a great note!! Thank you
