The Coach House Restaurant

A nice place for some dinner in Bangor. Had to wait for about 15 mins around 6PM on a Thursday night for a table of 5 because so busy and likely limited staff. However, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Our waitress didn’t even need to write orders down, and we had our salads and sides ready within 5 minutes. Tried the broiled scallops dinner which was very good with a side of gallaghers (baked potato which is then deepfried.) Waters refills were available very quickly with lemons. Dinner came with a side of bread buns as well.

Most dinners on the menu are between $12 – 26. Expect a seafood dinner to be closer to $20+. Neat special for the day with veal cutlets for $12 (didn’t try but sounded interesting).

Decor and dishes was a little older. No major issues except for a wobbly table but waitress was quick to fix. Not the fanciest place but food was good and lots of options!

Great experience! Very friendly and locals seemed to enjoy the place a lot!

Cosy and popular breakfast place. The parking lot was full on a Sunday morning, but they still found us a comfortable table where we could have breakfast and talk. The eggs were a bit overcooked, but the staff was attentive and kept our coffee filled. Very comfortable place to relax with friends.

Down to Eearth yet out of this world. If You are looking for quality food and a great time pick the.Coaxh house of Brewer. Friendly competent staff, fast service, delicious homecook style American classic food, decent portions, great price value ratio. The list goes on. Tables and booth are wooden and warm, ALWAYS.clean, with disinfectant at every table even! New favourite eatery!

My husband and I stopped in here to eat after the Lee hit. The food was fantastic. Great diner fare. I especially enjoyed their fried mushrooms, and their coleslaw was Delicious!!! I really recommend stopping in. Friendly service, great food, clean establishment, decent price. Grace was out waitress and she was super friendly and attentive. Really great place to visit.

I have had breakfast at a LOT of restaurants in my 57 years. From here in Maine to California and back, several times. LOL The Coach House is, hands down, the ABSOLUTE best. I usually get the apple and cinnamon pancakes with a side of ham and a side of cottage cheese and coffee. The coffee isn’t the best, but that is because of them using city water. But the food is to die for, the service is top-notch and the place is spotless and has awesome seating. Would recommend Coach House for breakfast to ANYONE, ANYWHERE and ANYTIME!!

We stayed at the vacation land hotel next to these restaurant, they suggested we eat here. Food was really good and we were completely satisfied. Stops and friendly and important in the price range is very good. I recommend try the daily specials, for that particular day it was haddock fish fries – it really was freshly caught and tasty. We thought to coming back here but Could not manage the time.

Overall a good experience. Staff was kind and helpful. We ate “The Works” a pasta dish, and a Turkey Melt sandwich. Both were good. The Works did not have a lot of flavor but I did enjoy it. The place was clean and not over crowded, a good place to eat. Food did not take long to come out. Which was good.
