Roister Restaurant An absolutely amazing dining experience. I highly recommend getting a reservation for the “hearth” seating. Being able to watch the chefs prepare the dishes is so fascinating

Real experience
The duck and crispy chicken were outstanding. The oysters were PHENOMENAL; a perfect shooter, with great flavors. The burrata with tomatoes was fresh and delicious, and lastly, the cauliflower was so interesting and cheesy and fun. All in all, I’d recommend it!!This was my first time at this restaurant and every dish was over salted. However, under the salt the seasoning and herbs were savory and balance, the plating, and the service prompt and polite. I just don’t know what was going on in the kitchen with salting too heavy handed. The highlight of the dinner was the charcoal vanilla ice cream, delicious with all elements balanceMenu Roister Restaurant

Was super excited to try Roister, especially after hearing rave reviews and reading the reviews on-line. If I was just eating the food, I would give Roister 3 stars. Their specialty fried chicken was average and very salty. For $39 you get two thighs and one breast. Honestly I was disappointed since the thighs were salty and nothing special. The Mediterranean Sea bass was delicious and the sauce was very balanced. sides were good but nothing amazing. The extra star was for their service, which was very attentive and friendlycomments 2
The food speaks for itself. Truly wonderful meal prepared by real professionals. The flavors in each dish were unique and exciting. Atmosphere at the hearth is warm and fun. Wait staff were kind and comforting. I’d definitely go backI have never had food this good before. I understand why they were awarded a Michelin star. This place was superior to all other dining experiences I have had. Would also highly recommend trying to get a seat at the kitchen counter. Such a neat experiencecomments 3
Absolutely delicious and unique food, I brought my boyfriend and girlfriend here and they both loved the food and atmosphere. Service was professional yet still fun and you could tell the kitchen was enjoying themselves. We started with the Aged Cheddar Rillettes which were to die for, the sauce was well made without the truffle being overpowering. We also shared a Pear salad which had the thinnest yet juiciest slices of pear I have ever seen. For Entrees, I got a Blue Crab Cavatelli dish which looked great and didn’t skimp on any ingredients, it was perfectly balanced and I definitely got what I paid for. My girlfriend got the fried chicken which looked like it had come out of the museum of modern art. Last my boyfriend got the Pappardelle which was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of spice.I would also heavily suggest trying one of Roister’s unique cocktails as opposed to a glass of wine as they bring together interesting flavors and are absolutely worth their price.I will be coming back in the future and can’t wait to try more unique future menus
