Espita restaurant Washington DC

Espita restaurant Washington DC  Espita is an exceptional Mexican fusion restaurant; their $24 fixed brunch menu alone is worth the visit. When I’m doubt lean heavy into the margaritas, or get creative with some Mezcal mules.

A friend invited my girlfriend and I here for a New Year’s Eve dinner. And we are so glad she did, because we wouldn’t have known about Espita Mezcaleria otherwise. The restaurant is beautiful and features a lot of great artwork. The cocktails were excellent. And the selection is fantastic. We ordered to share: Guacamole Charred Onion & Cashew Salsa Tacos De Zanahoria – Two tacos with butter roasted baby carrots, carrot almond salsa & crumble, carrot radish slaw and queso de cabra crema Col Rizada – Salad of curly & baby kale, kale chips, savory nuts & seeds,  !

that we really enjoyed. Tacos De Zanahoria, Col Rizada and Charred Pulpo were my top favorite dishes. The octopus was cooked to perfection. The Charred Onion & Cashew Salsa is really amazing. Such complex and delicious flavors! Service is excellent here. Since this occasion, we’ve been back several times. And one time we actually did a surprise birthday brunch for my wife. The restaurant was very helpful and accommodating with the surprise. Love Espita
