If you’re a fan of chef BK from Juno, then you’ll have no problem of finding remnants of his flavors here at Mako. Recently opened and already a Michelin 1 star; well deserved at that. Dinner this evening was a collaboration dinner with a chef from the Alinea group, next. When French and Japanese come together, you get a whole new set of flavors. The overall experience was great and nothing felt rushed. Each dish is meticulously laid out in front of you and the chefs, themselves, would stop and explain each dish to you. This isn’t their normal menu, but I have no doubt that his regular menu is anything short of amazing.

Incredible dishes ranging from snow crab to Berkshire pork with some outstanding sashimi and nigiri. It was a stellar meal from start to finish

Chef BK Park does it again! If you love Juno, you’ll love it here. Every piece of the omakase is thoughtful and intentional from the quality and choice of fish to the mixture of flavors you experience in every bite. The drink pairing is well worth it- again, thoughtful and intentional. It is a mixture of wines and sakes, complimenting every piece. And finally, the service is perfect- everyone is polite and knowledgeable, creating the perfect experience

Not enough good things to say. The fish is fresh and delicious as expected but I called 2hrs ahead with some unexpected dietary restrictions and they accommodated and made it an amazing experience! Matt was awesome as the chef and man Jay can help you find some great sake
