Did you know EVERY DAY is “Friday” FISH at Wendt’s? Yes – they have fish and seafood selections every day of the week (except Mon/Sun). Don’t fret land lovers, there’s something for you too. Great Cocktails Too!!!! I had the Lake Perch, and it was fantastic.

Drink specials are reasonably priced and mixed to perfection for a terrific tasting drink. I will definitely be back to try some of their other menu options.

The food was great!! I don’t know about the sea bugs or fish. And the waitress was a real sweetheart!!! Surprised at the excellent service especially during Sturgeon spearing season. The food was great too Had the breaded haddock for lunch with french frys. The food was tastey. Noted that the burgers are made with local beef, will have to try that next time. The waitress Amy was friendly and professional. Definitely a go to again.

We were looking for a good Friday fish fry in the Oshkosh area and Wendt’s did not disappoint! No wonder the wait was about an hour: this was one of the best fish fries we have had. Lightly battered cod pieces were perfectly fried. Waffle fries and sweet potato fries were great, and you can’t beat pint-glass old fashioneds for only six bucks! Definitely worth the visit even if you need to go out of your way to get there!

Stopped at Wendt’s on the Lake today for a to-go order. First time. And the food was absolutely phenomenal! The stuffed shrimp was exquisite, and the perch and poor man’s lobster was divine! Even the fries were good. Got the sampler platter also.

Everything was so very good. We’ll definitely go there again. The place looks very inviting, with great views of Lake Winnebago. And the place was just-a jumpin’, so if you’re interested in dining there, be prepared for a little wait. But I will tell you, it’s well worth it!!!

Known for its fish dinners. We all had something different, but everyone agreedthe food was excellent! Not only great tasting, but large portions for the price. I understand they have prime rib for Saturday. I bet that is good too based on today’s fare.

We stopped at Wendt’s mid afternoon on a Sunday. There were a lot of people at the bar, but no one in the dining room. We had a table with a wonderful view of the lake. The service was great. The food was delicious. The fish sandwich had two big pieces of perch on it. I had my favorite – ale shrimp and perch dinner. It was so good. I want to go back real soon.

Very nice friendly waitress served us outside, nice day, and she said we could bring our dog to the picnic table, which we did. Very nice spot next to Lake winnebago. Great perch, lightly breaded, just lacked salt, which was provided. Good cheese curds too. A little expensive but worth it for perch. We did not leave hungry
